Elsa Pataky reportedly posed nude for a Harper’s Bazaar España cover feature in 2025. In that magazine interview, she was also reported to have described an agreement with Chris Hemsworth that neither would pressure the other to live in their home country. Months later, in a separate interview, Pataky said there is no universal secret to a successful marriage: couples are different, and she believes in making an effort to keep growing and finding time together.
Did Elsa Pataky pose nude for Harper’s Bazaar España?
A May 22, 2025 report by Emisoras Unidas described Pataky’s Harper’s Bazaar España cover production as a nude photo session. It also said she appeared in corsetry and other revealing looks. This account is secondary coverage; the specific magazine issue and further production details were not identified in the report.
What did she reportedly say about the couple’s agreement?
The same report attributed to Pataky an agreement she sought as their relationship grew serious: “Le hice prometer que ninguno forzara al otro a vivir en su país, porque estaban muy lejos entre sí” (“I made him promise that neither of us would force the other to live in their country, because they were so far apart”).
According to that account, a visit to Australia helped change her view of where they might live: she fell for Byron Bay, its proximity to the sea and animals, and agreed to the move after asking Hemsworth to promise she could have horses. AS, in a report updated April 22, 2026, also recounted the agreement and Byron Bay story. These are reported accounts of what Pataky said, not a direct transcript of the Harper’s Bazaar interview.

What has Pataky said about marriage?
In a separate Madrid interview with Europa Press on September 24, 2025, Pataky rejected the idea that one formula works for every couple. She said: “Es que cada matrimonio es un mundo. El dar secretos es que lo que funciona para una gente y para una pareja no funciona para otro. Es tan personal. Simplemente que disfruten de cada momento.” In English: every marriage is its own world; what works for one person or couple may not work for another, so it is personal, and couples should enjoy each moment.
Asked what she thinks helps her and Hemsworth, she emphasized effort, shared interests, and continuing to reconnect as each person changes. “Yo creo que hay que invertir, hay que invertir el esfuerzo en la otra persona, crecer juntos, seguir encontrando cosas en común,” she said, adding that it matters to keep finding one another, go on dates, have dinner together, and work at the small gestures. The Europa Press interview and transcript capture her view at that time; her comments are personal reflections, not a universal prescription or proof of the private workings of the marriage.

Why did the family move to Australia?
In the same September 2025 interview, Pataky said the family’s life was in Australia. She described her children as used to surfing, the beach, motorcycles, and nature, and said moving them to a city after growing up with that lifestyle would be difficult. She also described farm life and being close to nature as a longstanding dream. That is her account from 2025, not confirmation of a current address or a permanent future plan.
