The claim that Ed Sheeran hosted a listening party for Brazilian fans is not confirmed by the sources located. The available information documents a separate Ed Sheeran listening event in London and upcoming São Paulo concerts, but neither verifies a Brazilian listening party. That distinction matters: the event may have happened, but its date, venue, organiser and format are not established.
Is the Brazilian listening party confirmed?
No reliable source located confirms that Ed Sheeran hosted a listening party for Brazilian fans. The available evidence does not establish whether such an event took place, and no official denial was found either. The accurate status is unconfirmed, not disproved.
There is also no verified information about a date, venue, organiser, album or songs played, whether attendance was public or invite-only, or how fans took part. Without those details or a primary announcement, artist or organiser post, venue record, or credible contemporaneous coverage, the claim should not be presented as a confirmed event report.
Events that are documented, but are separate
Ed Sheeran’s London event for Play
Spotify reported that it held a surprise event with Sheeran in London in September 2025 for his album Play. It began with an immersive listening party at Lightroom, followed by Sheeran’s surprise appearance and a conversation hosted by Nihal Arthanayake. This confirms a London event, not one in Brazil. São Paulo concerts in December 2026
Eventim Brazil lists LOOP TOUR concerts at Nubank Parque in São Paulo on December 5 and 6, 2026. The listing identifies Santander Brasil as presenter and Move Concerts as producer. These are concert dates, not listening-party details. Eventim Brazil’s event listing.
For those concerts, Ed Sheeran’s Brazil tour FAQ identifies Eventim Brasil as the official ticket seller and says ticket holders use the Eventim app to show their tickets. That information applies to the tour, not to the unconfirmed listening-party claim. Ed Sheeran’s Brazil tour FAQ.
