Yes. Bad Bunny writes lyrics and is credited as a songwriter, but he also creates music with collaborators. Credits for “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” and “DtMF” name him alongside other songwriters, so they establish his contribution without showing that he wrote every part of either recording by himself.
What the credits show for “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” and “DtMF”
The Latin GRAMMY article on the 2025 Song of the Year nominees provides song-specific evidence of Bad Bunny’s writing and collaboration.

“BAILE INoLVIDABLE”
The article says the lyrics were penned by Bad Bunny himself and lists eight songwriters: Bad Bunny, Antonio Caraballo, Julio Gaston, Armando Josue Lopez, MAG, Jay Anthony Nuñez, Kaled Elikai Rivera Cordova, and Roberto Jose Rosado Torres. It describes the track as an original salsa song performed with Puerto Rican musicians. The lyric attribution is explicit; the group credit shows that the song was not credited to Bad Bunny alone.
“DtMF”
The same article lists seven songwriters: Bad Bunny, Scott Dittrich, Benjamin Falik, MAG, Roberto José Rosado Torres, Hugo René Sención Sanabria, and Tyler Spry. These credits confirm that he is among the credited writers on this song, while also identifying co-writers.

- Genre: Rock, Latin Pop/Rock
- Number of Discs: 2
- Number of Tracks: 17
- Album Title: DEBI TIRAR MAS FOTOS
- Music Artist/Band: Bad Bunny
The Latin GRAMMY article characterizes the “vast majority” of Bad Bunny’s songs as written by him, but gives no percentage. That description should not be converted into a numerical claim; the named credits above are the concrete evidence for these two tracks.
Songwriting is not the same as making every part of a recording
A songwriting credit identifies a writing contribution; it does not, by itself, specify who produced, arranged, performed, or created every musical element of a recording. The credits for these songs support the claims that Bad Bunny wrote lyrics on “BAILE INoLVIDABLE” and is credited as a songwriter on both tracks. They do not allocate every creative role or establish that he worked alone.

- OASIS, the collaborative album between J Balvin and Bad Bunny, was released in 2019 and features the singles, "Que Pretendes," "La Cancion," "Yo Le Llego," and "Cuidao por Ahi
Collaboration also appears in accounts of his broader creative process. TIME’s 2023 interview quotes Bad Bunny describing writing as a way to express himself in the moment, rather than writing in anticipation of questions from others. In a separate 2025 TIME feature, he is described as developing an album concept with longtime producer MAG and making songs with local musicians.
How to check songwriting credits—and what they cannot prove
Song-level credits on streaming services can help identify listed writers, but they are not guaranteed to be complete. Spotify says its track credits are based on metadata supplied by record labels and may contain omissions or inaccuracies. Its songwriter pages, meanwhile, show works shared with Spotify by publishers. See Spotify for Artists’ explanation of songwriter pages and song credits.

When checking a particular track, open its credits in the listening service and look for the songwriter listing. Treat it as a useful reference, not a complete account of every contribution. For a claim about lyric authorship, distinguish a source that explicitly attributes the lyrics from a general songwriting credit, which names writers without necessarily assigning specific words or musical parts.

DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, described by TIME as Bad Bunny’s sixth solo studio album, was released January 5, 2025. TIME reports that he began writing the plena-inspired “Café con Ron” while watching the Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián in Puerto Rico. This is a documented example of his writing process, not evidence that he made every part of the album without collaborators.
