The prices below are U.S. monthly rates reported on September 23, 2026. The comparison distinguishes standalone services from bundles and identifies the ad tier.

CBS News’ September 23, 2026 plan breakdown lists these new rates and previous prices. The Los Angeles Times also reported the new standalone rates and Disney+/Hulu bundle prices.
Which plans went up the most—and which stayed the same?
Largest increase: ad-free Select bundle
The ad-free Disney+/Hulu/ESPN Select bundle rose by $3, from $29.99 to $32.99 per month, the largest increase among the plans in the September 23 report.

Standalone services
Disney+ with ads and Hulu with ads each rose by $0.50, to $12.49 monthly. Their ad-free standalone tiers each rose by $2.50, to $21.49.
Unchanged bundles
The ad-supported Disney+/Hulu bundle remains $12.99 per month. Both Disney+/Hulu/ESPN Unlimited plans in the reported breakdown also remain at their previous prices: $35.99 with ads and $44.99 ad-free.

When will existing subscribers pay the new price?
New subscribers were charged the new rates starting September 23, 2026. CBS News reported that existing subscribers would see the new rates on a later billing cycle. Disney’s U.S. help page says subscribers who signed up before August 20, 2026, would see a price change on or after October 21, 2026. The exact date can depend on an individual account’s billing cycle and enrollment circumstances, so check the billing notice or account details for the next charge.

The ad-supported Disney+/Hulu bundle is $12.99 monthly, compared with $12.49 for either ad-supported standalone service. The ad-free Disney+/Hulu bundle is $21.99, which is $0.50 more than either ad-free standalone plan at $21.49. Those totals alone do not make the plans interchangeable: the services and ad experiences differ. Compare what you watch and the tier you want before changing a subscription.
