What happens in “Peggy’s Headache”?
“Peggy’s Headache” is the key original-series episode about the secret. Disney+ lists it as Season 3, Episode 3 and identifies Peggy as the one who learns about John Redcorn and Dale’s wife (Disney+). Apple TV dates the episode to 6 October 1998 and summarizes Peggy’s attempt to inform Dale through an anonymous newspaper column (Apple TV).

That distinction matters: Peggy attempts to disclose the affair, but the episode listings describe an attempt, not a confirmed moment when Dale learns or accepts that Nancy and John Redcorn are involved. The available source summaries therefore do not support saying that Dale finds out.
What does the revival establish?
A 29 July 2026 CinemaBlend report quotes showrunner Saladin Patterson describing Nancy as taking a break from the affair and the revived storyline as still open-ended. Patterson’s comments do not say Dale has been told (CinemaBlend).
