Donna Kelce appears in Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story in a supporting role credited as “Manager.” The film’s stars are Hunter King and Tyler Hynes. It is a fictional romance about a Kansas City Chiefs–fanning family, not a dramatization of Donna Kelce’s life or the relationship of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
What role does Donna Kelce have in the movie?
Skydance’s official cast list credits Donna Kelce as “Manager.” The Associated Press describes her part as small. Hallmark identifies Hunter King and Tyler Hynes as the leads, so the title’s “to star” phrasing overstates Kelce’s billing. Skydance’s cast listing and Associated Press coverage clarify the distinction.
What is Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story about?
Hallmark’s synopsis centers on Alana Higman, whose family believes its lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fandom will help it win the team’s “Fan of the Year” contest. Derrick, the Chiefs’ Director of Fan Engagement, evaluates Alana’s family and two other finalists. As Alana and Derrick grow closer, her grandfather’s vintage Chiefs winter hat—regarded as a lucky charm—goes missing, leaving her to question both fate and the relationship.
The premise uses football and family traditions as the setting for a fictional romance. The Associated Press characterizes the movie as an ode to bonding through a sports team, rather than a direct portrayal of Swift and Kelce. Writer Julie Sherman Wolfe told TIME, “Obviously their love story was sort of the thing that got people thinking about romance and football together.” That comment describes the cultural context around the film, not its plot. Hallmark’s film page has the official synopsis; TIME’s interview provides the cultural context.

In its November 20, 2024 event announcement, Hallmark promoted a vintage-inspired Kansas City Chiefs knit hat “as seen in the movie,” along with a scarf and an ornament. That announcement does not confirm current stock, nor does it establish that an exact Hallmark-branded listing is available on Amazon. If shopping for a similar item, verify the design, licensing, seller, size, and materials; a Chiefs hat is not necessarily the film’s prop or an officially associated product. Hallmark’s announcement describes the merchandise promotion.
