Yes—public accounts suggest Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa have a cooperative, friendly relationship today, particularly as co-parents and television colleagues. It was not always easy: they have acknowledged earlier tension and said it took time to reach a better place. Their interviews and public appearances show how they describe the relationship, not everything about their private lives.
What their relationship is like now
In a January 2025 interview with Us Weekly, Tarek said they had been in a “really good place” for the previous couple of years and that it had taken almost ten years to get there. Haack said they had been fine more often than not and that she had no concerns about working with him.
They share two children and continue to co-parent. Their public relationship also includes Tarek’s wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, as part of the blended family. These public statements and shared projects point to a workable, cordial dynamic; they cannot establish how either ex-spouse feels in every private interaction.
How they moved from tension to working together
From married co-stars to exes
Haack and Tarek became known to television audiences as married co-stars on HGTV’s Flip or Flop, which ran for ten seasons and ended in 2022. They separated in 2016, according to their 2025 interview, and their marriage later ended. The Associated Press reported that they continued filming after the marriage ended and that there was some tension during those years. The distinction matters: separation and the end of a marriage are not necessarily the same date.

Reuniting for The Flip Off
Their 2025 series The Flip Off brought Haack back together professionally with Tarek and Heather. In the January interview, the three described the on-camera dynamic as playful. Tarek said the reunion was “just business” as the show went on, while Heather said she and Haack had always gotten along. That is a sign they can work together, rather than proof that their history had no difficult stretches.
What they have said about mutual respect
Haack has described Tarek as “a hard worker” and “a great dad,” adding that he had “come a long way” in their relationship and that they had gratitude and respect for each other. In a separate account of Haack’s 2025 People interview, Parade reported that Tarek helped communicate with their attorney and the network after Josh Hall left The Flip Off. It is a specific example of professional support, not a general measure of their private relationship.

What Heather’s friendship with Haack adds—and what it doesn’t prove
In July 2026, Heather described her relationship with Haack as having grown from co-parenting into “real friendship,” in a birthday message quoted by CinemaBlend. That public message offers a positive signal about the wider blended-family dynamic and Heather and Christina’s bond. It is not a direct statement from Tarek about his private feelings toward Haack.

The clearest answer is that Haack and Tarek appear to have a good, cooperative relationship now, as co-parents and colleagues. Their own accounts acknowledge that reaching this point took time, and AP’s reporting describes tension during their post-marriage work together. Public interviews, family messages and television appearances support that measured conclusion, but cannot reveal the full state of a private relationship.
