The available reporting does not establish that Dalton Gomez cheated on Ariana Grande. The claim that he was “acting single” came from an anonymous party tip relayed by DeuxMoi and reported by The News International on August 4, 2023—not from independently verified evidence of infidelity.
What was Dalton Gomez accused of?
The News International reported that an anonymous source had told DeuxMoi about seeing Gomez at a Hollywood party. In that account, Gomez was described as keeping a low profile while women gathered around him at a cabana. The tipster characterized his behavior as “not acting married.”

The report also repeated the anonymous source’s account of a friend confronting Gomez about Grande and of Gomez’s alleged response. Those details belong to the same secondhand account; the reporting reviewed here does not independently corroborate them. The specific allegation appeared in The News International’s August 4, 2023 article: The News International report.
Does the account prove that he cheated?
No. An anonymous tipster’s description of someone’s behavior at a party is not proof of a romantic or sexual affair. The phrase “acting single” is the tipster’s interpretation, as relayed in the report, rather than an independently established finding. The article’s headline uses the word “cheating,” but the account it presents does not establish infidelity.
#1 Best Overall
- translucent pearly white vinyl, gatefold jacket, printed die-cut inner sleeve, 16-page 12x12" booklet featuring lyrics and photos
The distinction matters: the claim is about how the tipster perceived Gomez’s social behavior. The reviewed reporting provides no independent evidence confirming that he cheated, and it does not identify an on-record source whose account would verify the allegation.
What is known about the timing?
The August 4, 2023 report discusses the allegation alongside the couple’s separation and divorce announcement, but it does not provide independently verified relationship chronology establishing whether the alleged party encounter happened during the marriage or after a separation. The timing should not be inferred from the article’s framing alone.

Was the alleged party incident linked to an Instagram deactivation?
The report suggests a connection between the alleged incident and an Instagram deactivation, but the account it presents does not establish that the party story caused the account to be deactivated. That causal link remains unverified in the reporting reviewed here.
