DC and Marvel’s planned crossover became two companion print one-shots: DC’s Batman/Deadpool #1 and Marvel’s Deadpool/Batman #1. DC’s issue paired Grant Morrison and Dan Mora on its lead story and added four more hero matchups; Marvel’s issue featured Zeb Wells and Greg Capullo. The announcements also laid out a broader slate of crossover editions and digital stories.
What the collaboration includes
DC described the two one-shots as part of a larger collaboration. They are separate issues from different publishers, with different lead creative teams and backup stories—not a single jointly published comic. DC announced Batman/Deadpool #1 for November 2025, while Marvel’s Deadpool/Batman #1 was listed as published on September 17, 2025. DC’s May 27 announcement set out the initial plan.

Lead story and bonus matchups
DC announced Grant Morrison as writer and Dan Mora as artist for the lead story. The 64-page one-shot also features four bonus stories:
- Constantine and Doctor Strange, by Scott Snyder, James Tynion IV and Joshua Williamson, with art by Hayden Sherman.
- Nightwing (Dick Grayson) and Wolverine (Laura Kinney), by Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo.
- Harley Quinn and Hulk, by Mariko Tamaki and Amanda Conner.
- Static and Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), by G. Willow Wilson and Denys Cowan.
DC’s August announcement named the teams and pairings. Its October preview described the issue as on sale November 19, 2025.

The wider crossover slate and collected edition
The project extended beyond the two print one-shots. From November 2025 onward, DC announced The Flash/Fantastic Four for DC UNIVERSE INFINITE, and Marvel announced Thor/Shazam! for Marvel Unlimited. Access depends on each service’s availability and subscription terms.
DC also announced DC/Marvel: The Cosmic Kiss Caper & Other Stories, a 224-page collection scheduled for September 8, 2026. DC said it would collect the two named print crossover stories and provide first print editions of two digital comics. The announced date has passed; the announcement alone does not establish whether the book has been released or is currently available from retailers. See DC’s collection announcement for its stated contents and publication details.
