When did Playdium Fairview open?
Cineplex confirmed the opening on December 19, 2024. Its earlier announcement, issued January 29, 2024, had described a planned late-2024 opening; the December release establishes the actual date. The venue is adjacent to Cineplex Cinemas Fairview Mall. Cineplex’s opening-day announcement gives the launch details.
What can visitors do there?
Cineplex described the venue at launch as more than 22,000 square feet, with more than 60 amusement games. Examples included racing games, virtual reality, claw machines and Duck Pin bowling. The current Playdium Fairview attractions page promotes 90-plus arcade games, along with VR and bowling. The 90-plus figure is current promotional copy, not the opening-day count.
The venue also offers food and party spaces. The opening announcement named poutine, pizza, nachos and sweet treats, and described party rooms for birthdays and gatherings. Menus and party availability can change, so check the official Fairview page for current details.
