It lists tools for finding titles, organizing a reading list, following progress, and exploring reviews and recommendations. The site’s feature descriptions are first-party claims, not an independent assessment of how well each tool works.
What can you do on ComicK?
The current comick.dev homepage describes ComicK as a discovery and tracking service, rather than simply a place to read chapters. Its stated features are intended to help readers find series, keep track of what they follow, and share opinions with other fans. The homepage does not establish a guarantee of reader performance, recommendation quality, or synchronization across devices.
- Discover titles: Browse anime, manga, manhwa, and webtoons, or use advanced search and metadata to look for works.
- Organize a reading list: Bookmark comics, create custom lists, record progress, and add notes.
- Follow activity: The site says users can receive notifications about new chapters.
- Explore other readers’ views: Review ratings, reviews, rankings, and recommendations.
These features are described on the ComicK homepage and its feature pages; availability and behavior may change over time.
How does the community fit in?
ComicK’s current homepage points visitors to Reddit and Discord for discussion and support, and invites feedback through an ideas and bug-report page. It also lists ratings, reviews, recommendations, and discussion among its community features. These options give readers ways to exchange opinions and suggestions, but the available descriptions do not establish community size, activity levels, or how discussions are moderated.

Is today’s ComicK the same service as the older manga reader?
The domains should not be treated as interchangeable. The current comick.dev homepage presents a discovery and tracking community. Separately, an FAQ on comick.live says that its online manga reader was created in January 2021 by a developer identified as “meotimdihia,” and that releases on that service were made by scanlators and translators. The available site descriptions do not establish whether comick.dev shares an operator with comick.live or continues the older reader.
The comick.live landing page also says that the original ComicK at comick.io shut down and describes comick.live as a trusted choice. Those are claims made by comick.live, not independent confirmation of the history or a verified account of comick.dev’s origins. The current comick.dev homepage does not clearly identify its operator or explain its relationship to the other domains.
What should readers know about titles and official access?
The comick.live FAQ says releases on that service were made by scanlators and translators, and that it de-indexes English-licensed manhwa and comics/manga from search engines. Those statements describe comick.live; they do not establish the rights status of every title there or explain the content model of comick.dev. Do not assume that every work associated with ComicK is officially licensed or available through an authorized source.
If you want to read a particular series, check its publisher or rights holder for official reading options and the correct edition. The comick.live About page describes its own terms and policies, including an age threshold and restrictions on certain content and conduct. Those policies should not be assumed to govern comick.dev.

How to decide whether ComicK suits your needs
Start with the tasks you want a manga or webcomic service to handle. ComicK’s comick.dev homepage says it offers discovery, search, progress tracking, lists, notes, notifications, and community features. For a careful comparison with another service, check the following points directly rather than relying on a general claim that one is “ultimate” or best:

Best Value
- The Manga Artists By Hart Christopher
- Whether the titles you want are listed, and where to find an official edition or reading option.
- Whether search and metadata tools help you find the right series and edition.
- Which progress, list, and notification features are available, and whether you can export or otherwise retain your data.
- How discussions are moderated, and what account and privacy controls are provided by the specific domain you use.
- Whether the site works well on your devices; no cross-device synchronization guarantee is established by the homepage descriptions.
