On August 31, 2026, Fightful reported that sources close to Baker said she took herself off the road in 2024. That account describes her decision to step away; it does not establish the underlying reason. The distinction matters: an explanation for an earlier break cannot be treated as confirmation of what happened later.
Her earlier health-related hiatus was a separate period
In a 2024 interview about an earlier hiatus, Baker said injuries had accumulated and referred to a TIA: “When I was gone for almost a year, it was different this time around. It was injuries that really piled up. It was the TIA”. She also described stepping away and giving other stars in AEW’s women’s division room to develop. On February 4, AEW president Tony Khan said, “I would expect to see Britt back in AEW. I just don’t wanna say when.” His comment indicated an expectation of a return but did not explain her absence or give a timetable. Fightful

Baker returned at All In: London
AEW’s official results record Baker’s return on August 30, 2026, at All In: London. She helped Persephone during the TBS Championship match and later said it was good to be back. AEW’s event results
Her return establishes that she appeared at the event; it does not retroactively confirm why she had been away. As of the cited public comments and reporting, the specific cause of the post-November 2024 absence remains unstated.
