In a March 2024 interview on Call Her Daddy, Brittany Snow said she was single and “actively trying to be alone” after her divorce from Tyler Stanaland. She described making room to feel her emotions rather than covering them with a new relationship, while also clarifying that she had dated casually and had nothing concrete. That interview describes her circumstances then—not her status today.

What did Brittany Snow mean by “actively trying to be alone”?

Snow was talking about taking time to be with herself and process the end of her marriage, not declaring that she had stopped dating altogether. As quoted in Just Jared’s March 27, 2024 coverage of the podcast, she said: “I’ve been actively trying to be alone and be with myself, and feel the feelings and not have to bandaid it with sparkly shiny emotional things. I’ve been in and out of things a little bit.”

She described a period of emotional reflection rather than a firm rule about relationships. In the same interview, she said she had been talking to people and had been in and out of casual situations, but nothing was concrete. Just Jared’s interview coverage and a secondary transcript of the episode report those remarks.

#1 Best Overall
  • September 2022: Snow and Stanaland announced their separation.
  • January 2023: Snow filed for divorce.
  • July 2023: Entertainment Tonight reported that the divorce was finalized.

Entertainment Tonight’s March 2024 interview coverage recounts the divorce and Snow’s reflections on the marriage.

What did Snow say about the public fallout?

Snow discussed the public attention surrounding Stanaland’s role on Selling the OC and storylines involving cast members Alex Hall and Kayla Cardona. She said the situation was emotionally consuming and that she had not been aware of many things. Those comments are her account of her experience; reality-show coverage or editing does not, by itself, establish disputed conduct.

She also resisted reducing the marriage to a simple story of regret. In Entertainment Tonight’s account of the interview, Snow said, “There was love there. There was a marriage there. There was so much love.” She also reflected, “I had instincts and I think, because I was in love, I didn’t trust them,” and said, “It does hurt, but it comes and goes.” These are personal reflections from the interview, not a general prescription for recovering from divorce.

Is Brittany Snow single now?

The March 2024 interview establishes what Snow said about her dating life at that time, not her present relationship status. On November 11, 2025, Us Weekly reported that she was engaged to Hunter Moreno. The outlet cited a source and described an apparent on-camera confirmation by Snow’s The Beast in Me costar Claire Danes; it also reported that Snow’s representatives could not be reached for comment. That report is engagement news, but it does not establish her status after publication or prove that she is married. Us Weekly’s report provides that later context.
