What is Beyoncé’s net worth? Forbes’s real-time profile estimated it at $1 billion as of October 6, 2026. That is an estimate, not an audited public balance sheet. Forbes identifies her music career—including solo work, Destiny’s Child, catalog rights and global touring—as the main source of her wealth.
What the $1 billion estimate does—and does not—mean
Net worth is an estimate of assets minus liabilities, not a tally of ticket sales, merchandise revenue or income earned in a single year. Forbes does not provide a complete, publicly verifiable asset-by-asset calculation for its current $1 billion estimate, so the figure should be read as a valuation rather than a precise accounting of Beyoncé’s private finances. Forbes’s real-time profile gives the estimate and its October 6, 2026 date.

Several widely reported figures describe different things. Keeping the measures separate is essential:
| Figure | What it measures |
|---|---|
| $1 billion, Forbes, as of October 6, 2026 | Estimated net worth—not annual income or tour revenue. |
| $148 million before taxes, Forbes estimate for 2025 | Beyoncé’s estimated earnings during 2025 from touring, catalog earnings and sponsorships. Forbes ranked her the year’s third-highest-paid musician. |
| More than $400 million in ticket sales, reported by Pollstar and cited by Forbes in 2025 | Cowboy Carter Tour gross ticket sales—not Beyoncé’s personal profit. |
| $50 million, Forbes estimate for 2025 | Cowboy Carter Tour merchandise sales at shows—not the artist’s take-home amount. |
| Nearly $600 million, Forbes retrospective published in 2025 | Renaissance World Tour gross for the 2023 tour—not personal earnings. |
Tour grosses and merchandise sales are business revenues. They do not show what an artist ultimately keeps after production, operating costs, taxes and other obligations. Forbes’s $148 million earnings estimate is also a different measure from net worth: it concerns one year and is before taxes.

How music became the main source of her wealth
Forbes attributes most of Beyoncé’s fortune to roughly three decades of work, first as a member of Destiny’s Child and then as a solo performer. The reported drivers include touring, earnings from her music catalog and the business structure she built around her work. The available reporting does not establish a precise current value for each asset or the exact amount attributable to any one revenue stream.
Catalog rights and a long-running career
A music catalog can generate income over time through uses such as recordings and licensing. Forbes describes catalog earnings and rights as part of the wealth picture, but that does not make the current value of Beyoncé’s catalog publicly certain. In a December 2023 article, Forbes cited sources who valued her catalog at about $300 million. That was a reported estimate from that article, not a confirmed sale price or a breakdown of her 2026 net worth. Forbes’s December 2023 estimate also placed her net worth at $800 million at that time.

Touring and the economics behind the headline grosses
Large tours can produce substantial revenue, but gross sales are not the same as artist income. Forbes reported that the 2023 Renaissance World Tour grossed nearly $600 million. For the Cowboy Carter Tour, Forbes cited Pollstar’s ticket-sales figure of more than $400 million and separately estimated $50 million in merchandise sales at the shows. Those totals help explain the scale of the touring business; they should not be added together and described as Beyoncé’s personal earnings.
Why Parkwood Entertainment matters
Beyoncé founded Parkwood Entertainment in 2010. Forbes says the company manages her career and produces her music, documentaries and concerts. It also reports that Parkwood fronts most production costs, positioning the company to capture more of the back-end economics. This helps explain how managing and producing work through her own company can affect the business around releases and tours; it does not disclose a specific ownership share or profit margin for any individual project.

In remarks reproduced by Forbes Australia from a 2013 interview promoting her self-titled album, Beyoncé explained her decision to manage herself: “When I decided to manage myself, it was important that I didn’t go to some big management company.” She said she wanted to build her own empire and show women they could avoid sharing their money and success with a management company. Forbes Australia’s 2025 profile covers Parkwood and her business portfolio.
How Beyoncé’s brands fit into the picture
Forbes also names Cécred hair care and SirDavis whiskey among Beyoncé’s ventures. They extend her business activity beyond recorded music and touring, but the reporting does not establish their individual values or how much either contributes to the $1 billion estimate. Forbes says music remains the central source of her personal wealth.

Ivy Park should not be described as an active clothing line: Forbes reported that it was discontinued in 2024. A past venture is part of her business history, not evidence of a current income stream.

Forbes estimated Beyoncé’s net worth at $800 million in an article published December 13, 2023; its real-time profile listed $1 billion as of October 6, 2026. These are estimates from different dates, not audited statements demonstrating a precise change in wealth under an unchanged public methodology. The 2023 article described assumptions involving her catalog, art and business holdings, and allocated half of shared real estate and art to each spouse. That historical methodology context is not a detailed accounting of the current estimate.

Industry observers have described her standing in unusually broad terms. Dennis Arfa, chairman of the talent agency IAG, told Forbes, “She’s one of the music gods,” adding, “She can do things most can’t.” The comment speaks to her stature in entertainment; it is not a valuation method.
