Her mother, Barbara Bregoli, defended her against claims that she was faking the diagnosis. A separate report attributed confirmation that Danielle Bregoli was receiving medical care to an unnamed family member—not specifically to her mother. Bregoli later posted in February 2026 that she had received “bad news” from her doctor, without publicly explaining what it was.
What has Bhad Bhabie said about having cancer?
In an Instagram Story quoted by the Los Angeles Times on November 8, 2024, Bregoli wrote: “I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose [sic] weight.” Her statement linked her weight loss to cancer medicine, but did not identify a cancer type, describe a treatment plan, or provide other details about her condition.
What did her mother say?
Barbara Bregoli defended her daughter after online accusations that the diagnosis was fabricated. In an Instagram video quoted by Us Weekly on November 9, 2024, she said: “I’ve had [breast cancer] twice. How dare you say my daughter’s faking this?” Her comments were a public defense of her daughter, not a disclosure of Danielle Bregoli’s cancer type or treatment.
Did a family member confirm she was receiving medical care?
Yes. The Los Angeles Times reported on November 8, 2024, that a family member said Bregoli was receiving care from a doctor and offered no further details. The report did not identify that source as her mother, so it should not be described as a direct confirmation from Barbara Bregoli.

What is the latest update on her health?
On February 28, 2026, Bregoli posted: “Bad news from my doctor yesterday,” followed by “god has the last say so not my cancer.” E! News reported the post on March 1, 2026. The post did not explain what the doctor’s news was or provide a specific update on her diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment.
What is known—and what remains private?
The public record described in the cited coverage establishes that Bregoli connected weight loss to cancer medicine, that her mother rejected accusations of faking the diagnosis, and that a family member separately said she was receiving care. It does not establish her cancer subtype, stage, prognosis, or treatment plan. Weight loss and brief social media statements do not fill in those missing medical details.
