Where The Fantastic Four: First Steps fits
Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps is a 2025 film set against a 1960s-inspired retro-futuristic backdrop. It introduces Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm. Disney’s UK film page gives July 25, 2025 as its theatrical opening date; that is the UK page’s stated date, not a worldwide release-date claim. Disney+ describes the film and its setting, and Disney UK lists its opening date.
Its ranking reflects the same four criteria as the others, rather than its position in the MCU timeline. Because it takes place in a distinct 1960s-inspired setting, viewers should not assume its story-time placement indicates when it was released or where it belongs in a release-order marathon.
