Mattel’s Mariah Carey Holiday Celebration Barbie is SKU HJX17, dressed in a glittery red gown. Margot Robbie appears as Barbie in at least two distinct movie dolls covered here: the pink gingham HPJ96 and the pink blouse-and-skirt JBJ53. Match the outfit and SKU to identify the specific doll in a photo; no single Margot Robbie doll represents every movie edition.
Mariah Carey Barbie: Holiday Celebration, HJX17
Mattel’s official Barbie x Mariah Carey Holiday Celebration Doll is identified by SKU HJX17. Its most recognizable feature is a glittery red gown with a dramatic slit, paired with curled hair, silver accessories and red heels. Mattel says the gown is inspired by an outfit Carey wears in the 2019 “Make My Dreams Come True Edition” of the “All I Want for Christmas Is You” music video. That is Mattel’s product description, not a personal statement from Carey.
The listing includes a doll stand and Certificate of Authenticity, says the doll is intended for ages 6 and up, and notes that she cannot stand alone. When identifying a product photo, look for the red gown and check that the listing or packaging names HJX17.
Mattel Creations displayed “Pre-order Sold Out” on the HJX17 page when accessed on October 8, 2026. That page status is a dated snapshot; it does not establish permanent discontinuation or current availability from other sellers.

Margot Robbie Barbie dolls: two different movie editions
Robbie’s movie tie-in dolls should be distinguished by outfit, not just by the actor’s likeness. Mattel lists separate dolls with different SKUs and included items.
| Doll and SKU | How to recognize it | Mattel listing details |
|---|---|---|
| Margot Robbie as Barbie in Pink Gingham Dress, HPJ96 | Pink-and-white gingham dress, daisy jewelry and pastel pumps. | Posable; includes fashion and styling accessories; ages 3+; cannot stand alone. Mattel product listing. |
| Margot Robbie as Barbie in Pink Blouse & Skirt Set, JBJ53 | Shimmery matching pink blouse and skirt, beret, hair bow and pink heels. | Includes a stand and Certificate of Authenticity; ages 6+; cannot stand alone. Mattel product listing. |
HPJ96: the pink gingham look
Mattel describes HPJ96 as modeled after one of Barbie’s looks in Barbie The Movie. In a photograph, the gingham pattern and daisy details are the clearest identifiers. Confirm the HPJ96 SKU when a listing uses only a broad label such as “Margot Robbie Barbie.”

- Aaliyah Barbie doll’s faux leather fit takes inspiration from the singer’s hit ‘One in a Million’ music video -- the titular track of her multi-platinum sophomore album

- Aaliyah displayed an unmatched talent as a rising artist and actress -- her smooth vocals layered over futuristic beats introduced a new and groundbreaking style of R&B
- Her legacy transcends music, fashion, and culture and lives on today. Aaliyah Barbie doll celebrates this influential star, making a memorable gift for collectors and fans alike.
JBJ53: the beret and matching set
JBJ53 is the separate movie doll in a shimmery pink blouse and skirt with a matching beret. Mattel describes this as the outfit Barbie wears while leaving Barbie Land for the Real World. The beret and coordinated separates distinguish it from the gingham-dress edition.
Do not confuse the dolls with Robbie’s press-tour outfits
Robbie also wore fashion looks referencing Barbie outfits from earlier decades during the film’s 2023 press tour. Those are real outfits worn by Robbie, not photographs of the Mattel dolls. In 2023 coverage, TIME described the press-tour looks as references to past Barbie styles and reported Robbie saying the recreations were for Barbie fans and collectors. A press photograph may show an outfit inspiration, but the doll’s product image and SKU are what identify a specific Mattel edition.
