Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteDispatch is a superhero workplace comedy from AdHoc Studio in which Mecha Man trades the field for a dispatch desk, assigning emergencies to a team of former villains seeking redemption. Its cast includes Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey and Jacksepticeye. The connection to The Wolf Among Us is specific: PlayStation describes the game as coming from that title’s writers and directors, not its entire development team.
What is Dispatch?
You play Robert Robertson, also known as Mecha Man. After his mech suit is destroyed in a fight with his nemesis, Robert takes a desk job coordinating a group of reformed villains called the Z-Team. Rather than simply fighting as a superhero, he must decide which responders to send to emergencies and navigate the people working under him.
The game combines branching story choices with dispatch strategy and roster management. Assigning a hero to a call is part of the job; so are developing the team and handling workplace relationships. PlayStation says choices affect relationships, allegiances and the story, while Xbox Wire describes choices as shaping how events unfold for Robert and the Z-Team.
Who is in Dispatch’s cast?
Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey and Jacksepticeye are three of the headline names in a much larger ensemble. The official PlayStation cast list also includes Erin Yvette, MoistCr1TiKaL (Charles White), Travis Willingham, Alanah Pearce, Lance Cantstopolis, Joel Haver, THOT SQUAD, Yung Gravy, Matthew Mercer and Jeffrey Wright. Xbox Wire lists the same core cast.

What does “from the Wolf Among Us devs” mean?
PlayStation’s official description calls Dispatch a superhero workplace comedy “from the writers and directors of Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us.” That wording identifies a creative connection through the writing and directing staff; it does not establish that the whole team that developed The Wolf Among Us moved to AdHoc Studio or made Dispatch.
PlayStation also describes the setting as modern-day Los Angeles. The game’s workplace-comedy premise and decision-driven story are central to that pitch, alongside its superhero emergencies.
