Reports say the pair also performed “Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again.” This was a separate promotional appearance—not the televised Wicked: One Wonderful Night special.
Where and when Grande and Erivo performed “For Good”
The performance took place Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at The Aster in Hollywood. The intimate Universal Pictures gathering followed a screening of Wicked: For Good at the nearby TCL Chinese 6 Theatre, according to BroadwayWorld’s event report. The appearance was part of the film’s awards-season activity.
What songs they performed
Grande and Erivo performed “For Good,” the title song from the film. Rolling Stone’s report says they performed with a pianist and then returned for “Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again,” a mashup the two had also performed at a different event, NBC’s Wicked: One Wonderful Night.
How this differed from the NBC special
The Hollywood gathering and the televised special were separate events, with different venues and formats. The Hollywood appearance followed a film screening and was an intimate promotional gathering. By contrast, NBCUniversal described Wicked: One Wonderful Night as a two-hour television special filmed at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. It aired on NBC on November 6, 2025, and streamed on Peacock the following day; the production featured a 37-piece orchestra, according to NBCUniversal’s announcement.

Where to find the studio recording
The official Wicked: For Good soundtrack includes the studio duet. Universal Music Canada lists its release on November 21, 2025, in digital, CD, double-vinyl, and limited picture-disc formats; Universal Music Japan identifies “For Good” as performed by Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. These listings establish the soundtrack recording, not an audio release of the live Hollywood performance: the cited reports do not say that the event was recorded for the album.
Universal Music Canada’s soundtrack release details and Universal Music Japan’s track listing provide format and song-credit information.
