April 9, 2026 was not the streaming release date for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I. It marked the end of the film’s Japanese theatrical run, with some theaters excepted. Streaming on Crunchyroll followed on July 28, 2026, outside Japan and Mainland China; Netflix later said the film was streaming there, too. Availability can vary by country.
What happened on April 9?
Aniplex’s Japanese notice says the film’s theatrical run ended on April 9, 2026, except at some theaters. That date referred to screenings in Japan—not an announcement that the film was available to stream. Aniplex’s theatrical-run notice preserves the exception for theaters that continued showing it.
When did Infinity Castle arrive on streaming?
The official Demon Slayer English-language site announced that Infinity Castle I would arrive on Crunchyroll on July 28, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The stated release covered the world except Japan and Mainland China. The announcement was published July 3, 2026; see the official Crunchyroll and digital-release notice.
Netflix Tudum said on September 28, 2026 that the film was streaming on Netflix, but its article does not list all countries where it is available. Check the Netflix catalog in your country rather than assuming the title is available everywhere. The same local-catalog check is sensible for Crunchyroll: its announced date and exclusions do not establish identical catalogs or playback options in every market.

What audio and subtitles are available?
The official digital-release announcement listed Japanese audio with English subtitles and dubs in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Catalan, Russian, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Thai, plus Polish voiceover. It also listed subtitles in several languages. These are announced options, not a guarantee that every language is offered in every country or on every service. Check the film’s listing on the service you plan to use.
