You can experience it in the Apple TV app on an iPhone running iOS 18.4 or later; Apple describes the trailer as designed exclusively for iPhone.
What makes this F1 trailer different?
This is a promotional trailer for F1 The Movie, not a special version of the feature film. Apple says its haptics are synchronized with the trailer’s images, so the feedback changes with the scene: fast on-track action gets sharper or more intense vibrations, while quieter moments receive gentler feedback. Apple’s App Store editorial page describes the design as matching the intensity and sharpness of the haptics to the action.
Apple calls it an “incredibly immersive trailer” that lets viewers feel the action in their hands. Here, “immersive” refers to the haptic effect; Apple describes responsive vibrations, not an immersive-video or spatial-video format.
How to watch it on iPhone
- Use an iPhone running iOS 18.4 or later, the software requirement Apple states for the trailer.
- Open the Apple TV app on the iPhone and look for the F1 The Movie haptic trailer.
- Play the trailer to experience its vibrations alongside the on-screen action.
Apple says the experience uses the iPhone Taptic Engine. Its published pages state an iOS requirement and iPhone exclusivity, but do not identify the oldest compatible iPhone model. The software version alone does not establish which specific models support the feature, so check your device’s available software and Apple’s current compatibility information rather than assuming every iPhone qualifies. If you already have a compatible iPhone, the trailer does not by itself mean you need to buy a new one. The cited pages do not establish a subscription requirement for watching it.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
What the iPhone exclusivity does—and does not—mean
Apple’s description makes the haptic trailer an iPhone-specific experience. The haptic feedback is the distinguishing feature; the available Apple pages do not provide a platform-by-platform comparison or performance tests, so they do not establish that it is objectively better than a standard trailer. They also do not specify an equivalent haptic experience on other devices.
How the trailer fits the film
Apple’s March 2025 announcement described F1 The Movie as starring Brad Pitt and directed by Joseph Kosinski. At the time, Apple listed the film’s theatrical release as June 27, 2025 worldwide and June 25 internationally. Those are historical release dates, not upcoming dates.
