Apple’s February 3 announcement was a slate preview—not a complete calendar—and the date alone does not confirm Mayday’s current availability.
What Apple announced for 2026
On February 3, 2026, Apple previewed a lineup spanning original films, new and returning series, and live sports. The film titles it highlighted included Outcome, The Dink, Mayday, Matchbox The Movie, and Way of the Warrior Kid. The announcement also mentioned Formula 1, MLS, and Friday Night Baseball.
Apple said it would debut new originals each week in 2026 and bring back returning series, including season four of Ted Lasso in the summer. That is Apple’s stated plan in its February 3 press release, not an independently verified count of weekly releases. The company said more original titles were still to be announced, so the preview should not be read as the whole year’s schedule. Read Apple’s full announcement.

Apple TV is a streaming service accessed through the Apple TV app; it does not require an Apple TV 4K box. Apple’s February 3, 2026 Canadian press release said the service was offered through the app in more than 100 countries and regions and on more than one billion screens. The devices it named included iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, smart TVs, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation and Xbox, and the web. Availability can vary by country, region, and device.
