What was reported about the ceremony and celebrations?
According to Us Weekly, Lil Dicky officiated the ceremony, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran spoke at the event, and Mark Ronson DJed the afterparty. The same outlet reported that Martin Short and Steve Martin gave a joint speech at the September 26 rehearsal dinner. These details were attributed to an unnamed insider, rather than an official statement from the couple.
Who congratulated the couple but was not confirmed as a guest?
Comments on Gomez’s wedding post should not be treated as proof of attendance. CBS/AP named Camila Cabello, Lily Collins and Amy Schumer among celebrities who left congratulatory comments. ABC News quoted Paris Hilton’s comment and separately reported that she attended. The distinction matters: a public congratulation and a reported appearance are different kinds of evidence.
