A Paramount+ spokesperson told TheWrap the series had “completed their runs on Paramount+ and will not be returning to the service.” That statement describes the company’s position on those shows; cancellation and removal are distinct events.

What’s on Paramount+ published a U.S.-focused list on December 23, 2023, of titles scheduled to leave on December 31. The outlet warned that the schedule could change, so these entries should be read as planned departures rather than a verified account of what ultimately disappeared.

July 2025: South Park leaves Paramount+ outside the U.S.
TechRadar reported on July 15, 2025, that all 26 seasons of South Park had left Paramount+ outside the United States after international streaming rights expired. The report said some South Park specials remained available internationally. This was a territory-specific rights change, not a global removal, and it is a dated report rather than a check of the 2026 catalog.

Portfolio and programming strategy
Paramount Global’s 2024 Form 10-K says the company combined Paramount+ and Showtime into an integrated product offering in 2023 and reviewed its international portfolio as it shifted toward a global programming strategy. The review identified content that did not fit the combined offering or the global strategy. It continued in the first quarter of 2024 and led to substantial additional content removals, particularly internationally, including locally produced and domestic titles.

The filing reported programming charges of $2.37 billion for 2023 and $1.12 billion for 2024. These totals include impairments and, respectively, development write-offs and contract termination costs; they are company-wide programming charges, not the value of one removed title or a count of titles removed.
Expired rights
The reported South Park change outside the U.S. was attributed to expired international streaming rights. That explanation applies to the reported international rights change for this series; it should not be assumed to explain other removals without title-specific reporting.
How to check whether a title is gone now
A departure article is not a live catalog lookup. To answer “Where can I watch it now?”, check the title’s listing in the country where you subscribe and confirm the date of the listing. The reports summarized here do not establish where every removed title is currently available.
Also distinguish streaming access from offline downloads. Paramount+ Support says that when rights expire, a title can become unavailable for download and be removed from a user’s download library. That change alone does not establish that the title has left the on-demand streaming catalog. The support article was last modified February 23, 2026.
