What Tom Felton has said about his lifestyle
In a 2022 interview with The Guardian, Felton reflected on how his life appeared to other people: “From the outside it was perfect: I had a dog, a nice car and a house in LA. You trick yourself into thinking, well, these are the things I’ve been told make you happy, but they don’t.” The statement describes his perspective at the time of the interview; it does not establish that he still owns those things.
In a separate 2022 interview, Felton recalled spending on cars for his brothers, buying a house for his mother, and buying cars and ordinary teenage items for himself. These examples give a glimpse of what he says he did with money as a young actor, but they are not a complete record of his finances.
What is known about his cars and property?
The Los Angeles house
Felton referred to having a house in Los Angeles when he spoke to The Guardian in 2022. The interview supports that dated first-person account, not a claim about his present property ownership or the home’s value.

The BMW Z4
In a 2009 Guardian interview, Felton identified a BMW Z4 as his car at that time and described cars as an indulgence. That is a historical detail; it should not be read as evidence that he owns the car today.
Did Harry Potter make him a millionaire?
Felton’s interviews do not establish a dependable current net-worth figure. The reviewed sources offer no independently verified accounting of his present fortune, assets or property values. Online celebrity-wealth estimates should not be treated as confirmed figures on the basis of these interviews.

His recollection of the film commitment also complicates the idea that the entire franchise was guaranteed from the outset. In a 2022 interview, he said the initial expectation was two films, with later installments decided as the series continued. His account describes an opportunity that developed in stages, not a twelve-year commitment fixed at the beginning.

Felton’s comments invite a distinction between outward signs of success and how he felt about them. He said that the dog, car and house did not bring the happiness he had been led to expect. That is his reflection on possessions; it is not evidence that wealth caused any mental-health difficulty.
