Rihanna’s most exclusive documented jewelry looks range from 51.9-carat Golconda diamond earrings to historic Cartier pieces and high jewelry she co-designed with Chopard. These are notable jewels she has worn or helped create—not a verified inventory of what she owns. Available accounts do not establish whether particular red-carpet pieces were borrowed, retained, or purchased.
What makes these jewelry looks exceptional?
Here, “exclusive” means a look stands out for a documented reason: exceptional reported gemstone weight, a specifically identified historic piece, a one-of-a-kind jewel, or Rihanna’s direct creative involvement. Carat weight describes gemstone weight, not a jewel’s price, and rarity alone does not establish value.
Rihanna’s standout documented jewelry
2026 Met Gala: 51.9-carat Golconda earrings
At the May 4, 2026 Met Gala in New York, Rihanna wore pear-shaped natural diamond earrings by Glenn Spiro, described as old Moghul Golconda fancy brown-yellow diamonds. A Diamond is Forever reported their combined weight as 51.9 carats. That is the combined weight of the two earrings’ diamonds, not a valuation or the weight of her entire look. The report identifies what she wore; it does not say she owns the earrings.
2021 Met Gala: Bulgari necklaces totaling more than 267 carats
For the 2021 Met Gala, Rihanna wore three Bulgari diamond necklaces that British Vogue reported weighed more than 267 carats in total. Her look also included Maria Tash earrings and a ring by Thelma West, but the reported figure applies to the three necklaces—not all the jewelry she wore.

2018 Met Gala: Cartier history and an 1870s necklace
Rihanna’s 2018 Met Gala look brought together a 1934 Cartier rosary and a vintage diamond necklace from the 1870s, attributed to Kentshire in her stylist Mel Ottenberg’s account. British Vogue describes the Cartier crucifix as made in London in 1934 and paired in 1949 with a “Dove of the Holy Spirit,” featuring a 17.20-carat star sapphire. The historic identity and design history distinguish this look from jewelry celebrated mainly for its total carat weight.
Ottenberg wrote of the rosary: “The priceless Cartier rosary is from 1934 and is one of the greatest pieces of jewelry I’ve ever seen.” His description conveys his view of the piece; it is not a market valuation.

2017 Cannes: Rihanna Loves Chopard
Rihanna co-designed a nine-piece jewelry line with Chopard. Vogue’s 2017 announcement said the collection drew inspiration from the landscapes, flora, and fauna of her island hometown. British Vogue later described the high-jewellery pieces she wore at Cannes as “one-of-a-kind pieces” and connected their colors to Barbados’s Crop Over festival. The collaboration is a clear example of Rihanna’s creative involvement in jewelry design, but it does not establish that she owns every piece. The sources describe a historical collection and do not confirm its current retail availability.
2025 Met Gala week: a Victorian diamond brooch
Ahead of the 2025 Met Gala, Rihanna wore a Messika Precious Flow high-jewelry necklace and ring, with diamond brooches on a fur stole. The Diamond Collective identifies jewelry from Joseph Saidian & Sons Jewelry and Lang Antiques, including a Victorian “En Tremblant” diamond brooch by Briony Raymond. Raymond described the brooch as more than a century old and made to move with each step. Its age and articulated design give it a different kind of distinction from a modern jewel whose headline feature is gemstone weight.
