Ag With Emma began with a practical goal: Emma wanted her grandparents to understand her work in seed production, so she started filming and sharing videos from the job. Those clips grew into an agriculture-focused presence across social platforms, built around showing viewers what farm work looks like from someone doing it.
Why Emma started filming farm work
Emma’s videos grew out of a personal connection, not a plan to speak for every farmer. She wanted family members who were not involved in her work to see what seed production involved. The project widened as she shared more of the everyday details of agriculture with people beyond her own circle.
In a September 2025 profile, Successful Farming reported that Emma asked to keep her surname anonymous. This article therefore identifies her by the name used for her creator account, Ag With Emma.
The farm experience behind the videos
Emma’s perspective comes from hands-on work in several agricultural settings. The Successful Farming profile says she grew up around a Wisconsin dairy farm, moved to southern Idaho as a child, earned an associate degree in general agriculture, and worked as a farmhand and on a custom harvest crew. She later settled in North Dakota, where she worked in farming and crop consulting.

That background gives her videos a first-person point of view: she can show the work as it happens and explain the practical tasks around it. Farm Progress, in a June 2025 profile, likewise describes her work as bringing together farm life, tours, and agricultural communication.
What viewers see in Ag With Emma’s videos
The subjects span crops and stages of farm work rather than one single operation. Emma has spoken about wheat, corn, canola, and sunflowers, as well as harvest and field observations. Examples in the Successful Farming profile include checking crop stands, looking at fertilizer maps, taking protein samples, and using drone footage.

Harvest and crop work
Emma has said wheat is her favorite crop: “I love wheat harvest. I love growing wheat. I love watching wheat grow.” She has also described the appeal of working across different crops: “Every crop is different, and I’ve enjoyed that I’ve been able to be part of so many different crop harvests.” For viewers, those examples make clear that agriculture involves crop-specific decisions and changing work through the growing season.
Farm visits and new perspectives
Her opportunities have included visits to farms in the United States and Australia, according to the 2025 Successful Farming profile. A trip to Germany was described there as upcoming at the time of publication; that account does not establish whether it later took place. Farm visits add settings beyond Emma’s own day-to-day work, but they do not make her account a survey of all farms or farming systems.

Who she hopes to reach—and what “the truth” means here
Emma has said she wants agriculture to feel understandable to people who do not work in it, without making them feel judged for asking questions. “If we aren’t posting for those people, then we’re just preaching to the choir,” she told Successful Farming. She also said, “I try to make it easy to understand so that people feel like agriculture is more approachable,” and described the goal as giving consumers a place to receive information “that’s not biased and that is coming from true experience.”
Those statements describe her aim and her own approach. Ag With Emma is a creator’s first-person account, not an independent review of agricultural practices, and no independent study cited in the available profiles measures whether viewers learn more or how representative the videos are of farming as a whole. Her work can offer a concrete window into particular jobs, crops, and farms; viewers should not treat one account as a complete account of modern agriculture.

How large is Ag With Emma’s audience?
The scale figures available are dated snapshots, not current live counts. Successful Farming reported on September 13, 2025, that Ag With Emma had surpassed 54 million YouTube views. In a 2025 LinkedIn post, Emma said the account had more than 700,000 followers across platforms and listed Instagram at 195,000, YouTube at 260,000, TikTok at 204,000, X at 33,000, and Facebook at 25,000. The figures come from separate publication-time claims and should not be combined into a current verified total.
The view count supports the headline’s reach framing: millions of video views. It does not establish how many individual people watched, whether they watched in full, or whether viewing changed their understanding of farming.
