Why did the cast and producers discuss another season?
In September 2025, Robin Wright said the decision would depend on the show’s success, adding, “We have to see the success, or non-success, of the show. ’Cause it could go down…” Executive producer Jonathan Cavendish said the team would like to make a second season if Amazon wanted one. What did the finale leave unresolved?
In the Season 1 finale, Laura and Cherry fight at Laura’s house. Daniel intervenes and accidentally drowns Laura. Months later, he finds Laura’s missing phone, charges it, and discovers video evidence that changes what he believes about Cherry. The ending leaves Daniel aware that Cherry has concealed the truth.
