Adriana Lima returned to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway on October 15, 2024. The company announced her casting the day before, describing the appearance as a homecoming. She walked again at the 2025 show.
When did Adriana Lima return to the runway?
Lima walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City on October 15, 2024. Victoria’s Secret announced her appearance on October 14, calling it “a homecoming for one of the biggest icons in the modeling industry.” The show’s return followed a period when the annual event had been canceled in 2019; ABC News linked that decision to a turbulent period and criticism of the show’s past lack of inclusivity.
The word “return” needs a little context: Lima had already returned to Victoria’s Secret as a campaign partner in 2023. The 2024 appearance was her return to the fashion show runway.
How long had Lima been associated with the show?
Victoria’s Secret’s official biography says Lima began her career with the company in 1998 and first walked in its Fashion Show in 1999. That long history made the 2024 appearance a return to a runway she had walked early in her career, rather than a debut.
