Leah Remini played Stacey Carosi, the daughter of Malibu Sands owner Leon Carosi, in a six-episode summer storyline on Saved by the Bell. Stacey starts as a boss at the beach resort and becomes Zack Morris’s romantic interest. The available episode listings and retrospective interviews support a focused account of her role—but not fourteen distinct, well-sourced facts.
Who Leah Remini played
Remini portrayed Stacey Carosi, whose father, Leon, owns the Malibu Sands beach resort. The storyline brings the Saved by the Bell gang to the resort for summer jobs, where Zack’s dealings with Leon and Stacey drive much of the conflict. The pageant puts Zack in a bind
In “Fourth of July,” Zack serves as a judge at the resort’s Miss Liberty pageant. Leon presses him to rig the contest in Stacey’s favor, turning Zack’s role into a test of his judgment and his relationship with the Carosis.

A Boston boyfriend changes the relationship
“My Boyfriend’s Back” introduces Stacey’s boyfriend from Boston as the summer season approaches its end. The episode adds a complication to Stacey and Zack’s romance; the available episode summary does not establish what ultimately motivated the character’s later absence.

Entertainment Tonight reported that Remini said a former agent had advised her not to take the job. The report does not identify the agent or give a reason for the advice, so it does not support speculation about why the agent objected. ET also covered Remini’s conversation with Mark-Paul Gosselaar on his Zack to the Future podcast. Gosselaar recalled that he knew of her before they met and described her as “this fierce person from Brooklyn.” That is his later recollection, not a contemporaneous production account. Entertainment Tonight
TVLine quoted Remini describing how viewers continued to associate her with the show: “I got Saved by the Bell, and what was funny is for a very long time in my career — [I had done] Living Dolls, Cheers, Friends — people would say, ‘I loved you on Saved by the Bell,’ and they still do!” This is her anecdotal account of audience recognition, not a measured survey. Why fourteen separate facts would overstate the record
The available sources support the character, the six episode titles, key plot points, and a few attributed retrospective comments. They do not establish fourteen independent facts without repeating the episode count or turning interpretation into production history. One episode guide also illustrates why counts should be attributed carefully: epguides.com’s series overview lists Remini in three entries, while TVmaze’s episode-level listings give six appearances. epguides.com
TVLine reported in 2021 that a revival producer had expressed interest in a possible return, but that was hypothetical at the time; it is not evidence that Remini returned to the role. TVLine
