What stood out about the 2025 Grammys manicures?
The 67th Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles on February 2, 2025. Red-carpet nail coverage highlighted a broad contrast: some artists wore long, highly embellished extensions, while others chose short nails and restrained color. The descriptions below draw on different editorial selections, so they should not be read as a complete or official inventory of the night’s manicures.
13 Grammys nail looks to save for inspiration
1. Chappell Roan’s turquoise-and-gold stilettos
Roan wore long stiletto extensions in turquoise and gold, accented with chrome and stones. Nails Magazine’s product breakdown credits manicurist Juan Alvear and lists Aprés Natural Almond Medium Gel-X Tips, Birnam Wood, chrome powder, black French Manicure Gel, and stones. 2. RAYE’s crystal-lined French tips
Manicurist Yoko Sakakura gave RAYE short stiletto Gel-X tips with Aprés Flushed polish, black French tips, and crystals placed along the smile line. It is a useful reference for adding sparkle without covering the whole nail in embellishment. Nails Magazine reported the products and design.

3. Teddy Swims’s sculpted roses
Teddy Swims wore very short square Gel-X tips decorated with painted, three-dimensional roses. Rather than relying on length, the look makes the nail surface itself the focal point. Nails Magazine detailed the technique.
4. Cynthia Erivo’s moon-and-stars manicure
Erivo’s celestial design paired an elegant ballerina shape with a blended field of blue, white, purple, and mint. Nail artist Mycah Dior reportedly used a sponge to blend OPI Gel Color shades; the corresponding lacquer shades named in NewBeauty’s account are Skate to the Party, Alpine Snow, Gelato on My Mind, and Duomo Days. On the red carpet, Erivo said, “I feel like the nails are also a hint. What do you see there? Moon and stars.” The design nodded to her performance of “Fly Me to the Moon.” NewBeauty and British Vogue covered the manicure.

5. Cardi B’s purple-and-black tips
Cardi B’s manicure brought together a purple base and sharp black tips on a stiletto shape. Bustle describes artist Coca Michelle’s design as V-shaped French, or “tuxedo,” nails and names OPI Grape Escape for the base and Black Onyx for the tips. British Vogue describes the look as purple-and-black aura nails, while Allure’s caption emphasizes the pointed shape and black tips; those are differing descriptions of the visible design, not necessarily interchangeable technique names. 6. Taylor Swift’s dark red shimmer
Swift wore a red manicure with subtle sparkle by Lisa Wong. Coverage varies on the exact shade: Bustle calls it deep red, British Vogue bright red, and Allure dark cherry. Taken together, the reporting points to a red-family manicure rather than a single confirmed shade name. Bustle, British Vogue, and Allure describe the look.

Doechii’s manicure was linked to Thom Browne’s signature colors. Bustle calls it a half-moon manicure; British Vogue describes an office-core French tip. 10. Janelle Monáe’s rhinestone-tipped gunmetal

Keys kept her nails short and added sparkle, showing that embellishment does not require long extensions. British Vogue highlighted the manicure. British Vogue covered the look.
