This is an editorial selection, not a verified ranking or a definitive list of current owners. Aircraft arrangements can change, and a reported association does not show who was aboard a particular flight.
How to read this list
“Private jet” can mean very different things. A long-range business jet is not interchangeable with a converted widebody airliner, and an aircraft being linked to a celebrity does not by itself establish personal ownership. The models below are based on published reporting and a current CRAFT guide, which says its illustrations show aircraft types rather than the individuals’ actual planes. CRAFT’s guide lists 34 public figures and cites 73 reports; it reports ultra-long-range aircraft for 24 of those 34. [CRAFT’s celebrity-jet guide]
Ten celebrities and the aircraft reported in connection with them
1. Taylor Swift — Dassault Falcon 7X
CRAFT lists Swift with a Dassault Falcon 7X, a business jet in the long-range category. That model association is reported, not proof of current ownership or of Swift’s presence on any particular flight. The Guardian’s 2023 coverage also reported on scrutiny of celebrity aircraft use. A spokesperson for Swift told the paper: “Before the tour kicked off in March of 2023, Taylor bought more than double the carbon credits needed to offset all tour travel.” [CRAFT] [The Guardian’s investigation]
2. Drake — Boeing 767
Drake’s “Air Drake” is reported as a Boeing 767, a converted widebody airliner rather than a business jet. EL PAÍS describes its private interior and reports a partnership between Drake and Cargojet. In 2019, Cargojet CEO Ajay Virmani said: “We have maintained a long relationship with Drake and this partnership has grown organically between both parties. Cargojet and Drake are great Canadian success stories, and we’re thrilled to partner with him.” That statement documents a company partnership; it does not settle every question about ownership or use. 3. Michael Jordan — Gulfstream G650ER
CRAFT reports Michael Jordan in connection with a Gulfstream G650ER, an ultra-long-range business jet. Its aircraft guide identifies the model, but does not establish that Jordan is aboard on any particular trip. [CRAFT]
4. Kim Kardashian — Gulfstream G650ER
Kim Kardashian is also listed by CRAFT with a Gulfstream G650ER. EL PAÍS separately includes her among the celebrities associated with private aircraft, but that secondary reporting is not independent verification of the current ownership or operating arrangement. [CRAFT] [EL PAÍS]

5. Kylie Jenner — Bombardier Global 7500
CRAFT lists Jenner with a Bombardier Global 7500, a model it categorizes as ultra-long-range. EL PAÍS has also reported on aircraft associated with Jenner. Neither listing should be read as proof that she owns or personally uses an aircraft on a given date. [CRAFT] [EL PAÍS]
6. John Travolta — Bombardier Challenger 601
CRAFT’s guide associates Travolta with a Bombardier Challenger 601. This is a distinct aircraft story from the ultra-long-range models elsewhere on the list: the cited guide names the model but does not provide a verified current ownership arrangement or a passenger count. [CRAFT]

7. Elon Musk — Gulfstream aircraft
CRAFT and EL PAÍS report associations between Musk and Gulfstream aircraft, but the material cited here does not establish one definitive current model or ownership arrangement. “Gulfstream” is a manufacturer name, not a single aircraft type, so it would be misleading to treat it as a precise model attribution. 8. Jeff Bezos — aircraft association reported
EL PAÍS includes Bezos among public figures associated with private aircraft. The reporting cited here does not provide a sufficiently specific, independently confirmed current model to make a more precise claim. [EL PAÍS]

9. Bill Gates — aircraft association reported
EL PAÍS also reports on aircraft associated with Gates. The cited coverage supports including him among the public figures discussed, but does not establish a current aircraft model or the terms under which it is owned or operated. [EL PAÍS]
10. A final distinction: aircraft reports are not passenger records
The available reporting supports a list of public figures and aircraft associations, but not a conclusive tenth model-specific attribution beyond those described above. This selection therefore includes Bezos and Gates as reported aircraft associations, with that limitation made explicit rather than filling the gap with an unsupported model. Aircraft can be used by friends, family, associates, or moved without passengers; tracking an aircraft does not prove a celebrity’s whereabouts. What does it cost to charter a jet like these?
Charter cost depends on aircraft size and itinerary; it is not the same as buying an aircraft. CRAFT reported published jet-card rates of about $18,000–$19,000 per hour for ultra-long-range aircraft as of October 2, 2026. That is dated jet-card context, not a universal quote for a whole-aircraft charter. A charter quote may also include repositioning and fees. [CRAFT]
What aircraft emissions estimates can—and cannot—show
Emissions estimates depend on flight data coverage and modeling assumptions; they are not interchangeable with a measured total for an individual celebrity. The Guardian’s 2023 investigation estimated 415,518 tonnes of CO₂ across its tracked sample of almost 300 jets, covering 44,739 journeys from January 2022 to September 22, 2023. Its methodology used public aircraft data, OpenSky flight tracking, and aircraft emissions calculators; it noted limited flight coverage, particularly beyond the United States and Europe. This is a historical sample estimate, not a current celebrity-by-celebrity total. [The Guardian’s methodology and results]
Separately, the Associated Press reported in February 2024 a conditional estimate from Gregory Keoleian, co-director of the University of Michigan Center for Sustainable Systems: a hypothetical 19,400-mile itinerary on a Dassault Falcon 900LX could release more than 200,000 pounds of CO₂. It was not a measured celebrity trip, and the AP story noted that actual emissions vary with route and passenger count. [Associated Press report]
