The headline claim that 10 celebrities “can’t stand” Justin Bieber goes further than the available evidence. Retrospective reports document several public criticisms and disputes, but they do not establish ten people’s private feelings or current views. The clearest cases include Seth Rogen, whose feud with Bieber was later reported as resolved, and Patrick Carney, who described receiving hostile messages from Bieber’s fans after an exchange. Other names belong to narrower disagreements, often involving a third party.
What counts as a documented clash?
A sharp public remark, a reported argument, and a lasting personal feud are not the same thing. The examples below are limited to reported statements or incidents; they do not establish that anyone currently dislikes Bieber. The strength of the evidence also varies: some accounts quote a public exchange, while others briefly summarize a criticism.
The clearest reported disputes
Seth Rogen: harsh criticism, followed by a reported reconciliation
In March 2014, ABC News reported that Rogen criticized Bieber on Watch What Happens Live, describing him as “obnoxious and ungrateful and insincere.” The outlet also reported Rogen’s profane assessment of Bieber, but the wording came through secondary reporting rather than a primary transcript. ABC News reported on Rogen’s remarks.
Bieber responded on Twitter in May 2014, apologizing for seeming not to bow down when they met and saying he still liked Rogen’s movies, according to CBS News’s account of the exchange. ABC News later reported that Rogen apologized and that the two ended their feud on Ellen in 2015. That later report makes this a historical clash, not evidence of a current feud.

Patrick Carney: a Grammy-related exchange and reported fan backlash
After Carney said the Grammys recognized music rather than money, Bieber tweeted that the Black Keys drummer “should be slapped around,” TIME recounted. Carney later told Rolling Stone that Bieber had sent followers after him. TIME reported that Carney described receiving death threats and slurs. This documents a public dispute and Carney’s account of hostile fan responses; it does not show that Bieber personally directed those messages or establish Carney’s current feelings. TIME’s account of the celebrity disputes describes the episode.
Drake Bell: public criticism and online backlash
TIME also reported Bell’s criticism of Bieber and said Bell told Yahoo Music that he received death threats and slurs after retweeting a photoshopped image. That account concerns criticism and the reaction Bell said he faced online. It does not establish that Bieber directed harassment at Bell or that the two had a lasting personal feud. The TIME report is retrospective.

Criticism reported in 2014
Keyshawn Johnson: concern about neighborhood driving
An ABC News roundup reported that former NFL player Keyshawn Johnson called Bieber out for speeding in Johnson’s neighborhood, where Johnson’s children played. The account presents a safety-related criticism, not evidence of a continuing personal feud. ABC News’s 2014 roundup is the basis for the report.
Olivia Wilde: criticism over Bieber appearing shirtless in public
The same ABC News roundup said Wilde took offense in 2013 to Bieber appearing in public shirtless. The brief report supports including her among people who criticized a public choice; it does not show that she “can’t stand” him or that the disagreement endured.

Disagreements connected to Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun
Cara Delevingne: a public challenge over Bieber’s defense of Braun
In 2019, Delevingne criticized Bieber for defending Scooter Braun after Swift spoke about Braun’s acquisition of the masters to much of her early music, according to Nicki Swift’s 2025 retrospective. The article reproduces Delevingne’s Instagram comment, which challenged Bieber and Hailey Bieber to spend less time defending men and more time understanding women’s reactions. This was a public disagreement about a third-party dispute; it does not establish Delevingne’s private or present-day feelings toward Bieber.
Nicki Swift’s 2025 account describes the pair’s later relationship as unclear and recounts a 2020 game-show moment and a Delevingne post that apparently complained Bieber had blocked her. Those details are the outlet’s characterization, not proof of a settled feud. Nicki Swift’s 2025 retrospective discusses the exchange and the uncertain later relationship.

Taylor Swift: reported strain, not a verified personal feud
Nicki Swift’s 2025 article says Swift and Bieber had once been friendly, then describes strain after Bieber publicly supported Braun and criticized Swift’s post about the dispute. It quotes Bieber apologizing for an earlier Instagram post while continuing to criticize Swift’s decision to publish her account. This supports describing a public disagreement and reported tension; it does not establish that Swift hates Bieber or currently holds a particular view of him. The account appears in Nicki Swift’s retrospective.

The documented examples differ in what they show: a direct insult, a brief criticism, an argument about a third party, or reported backlash from fans. They also differ in how directly the remarks are sourced and whether later reporting described an apology or reconciliation. Turning these into ten people who “can’t stand” Bieber would overstate the record.

For example, Bieber commented “Burn it” on a post about JoJo Siwa’s custom car in 2018, but ELLE reported that he apologized, and E! described the exchange as “No feud here!” and said Siwa took the criticism in stride. That episode is a counterexample to treating every sharp celebrity exchange as enduring animosity. E! News reported on the exchange.
Reports about former friends or business relationships, including Usher, Floyd Mayweather, and people associated with Drew House, do not by themselves establish that those people dislike Bieber. The evidence summarized here supports a handful of documented public clashes, not a verified ranking or a current count of celebrities who dislike him.
