Spoilers for The Traitors Season 3 finale: the four winners say the broadcast left out or played down relationships, challenge work and a key moment that helped Dylan Efron identify Britney Haynes as a recruited Traitor. Their recollections add context to the finale, but they are not a complete list of deleted scenes.
What the Season 3 winners said the edit left out
In TheWrap’s March 7, 2025 post-finale interview, Dylan Efron said his relationships with Danielle Reyes and Carolyn Wiger were underplayed. “I had a lot of moments with Danielle and Carolyn that were underplayed,” he said, adding that Lord Ivar Mountbatten was also close to them. Mountbatten described the gap between the game and its broadcast this way: “There’s a huge amount that you don’t see.” He also characterized his own role as low-key and said the edit shapes what viewers see.
Those comments describe the winners’ experience of the season, not a verified inventory of footage omitted from the finale. They point to a broader issue with a competition show’s edit: viewers see selected interactions, while contestants remember a larger network of conversations and alliances.
Challenge effort that got less screen time
Dolores Catania wanted more of her physical work shown
Catania said she wished the episodes had shown more of her effort in the challenges. She recalled repeatedly going up a hill and joked that she wanted more camera attention. “I wish that you would have saw how much better I was at the challenges,” she said in TheWrap’s interview.

Mountbatten recalled carrying a body with Robyn Dixon and Tom Sandoval
Mountbatten described a challenge in which he and Robyn Dixon carried a body uphill. Near the end, Tom Sandoval offered to take over from Dixon, and the three carried it the final stretch. Mountbatten said he was irritated that Sandoval had not asked before stepping in. His account supplies a concrete example of challenge activity and interpersonal friction that did not receive much emphasis on screen.
What Efron said gave Haynes away
At the final round table, Efron said Haynes’ attempt to direct suspicion toward him made him certain she had been recruited as a Traitor. “During the [final] round table, that gave it away for sure that she was a Traitor to me, because she was pinning it on me,” he told TheWrap.

Efron also recalled an off-camera exchange about Haynes swearing on her children earlier in the game. He said he believed she had been a Faithful at that earlier point, and that Haynes thanked him for giving her that. This is Efron’s recollection of the exchange, rather than a scene shown in the finale.
