Jasmine Reynaud said Nicole Zanatta changed her choice at the elimination after Veronica Portillo spoke with her. Nicole went on to win the physical matchup, eliminating Jasmine. That explanation of the switch—and the conversation that preceded it—is Jasmine’s account from post-elimination interviews, not an independently verified account of a private exchange.
What changed at the elimination?
In interviews after her elimination, Jasmine recalled that Nicole had agreed beforehand to save her. Jasmine said Veronica then spoke with Nicole, after which Nicole changed her selection. Jasmine said she could not hear what Veronica was telling Nicole, so the reason for the change is not something she claimed to know firsthand.
Jasmine said she was surprised when Nicole’s changed choice was announced. Nicole won the physical elimination, sending Jasmine home. The agreement, the timing and the conversation are details reported from Jasmine’s recollection in Entertainment Weekly’s interview coverage via Yahoo and Parade’s post-elimination interview.
Which episode was Jasmine eliminated in?
Paramount+’s season 4 episode guide places the Nicole-and-Jasmine elimination in episode 5. That is the episode context for the selection change Jasmine described.

Why this is not the season’s later elimination twist
The episode 5 event is separate from the late-season twist described in episode 11, “Live Free Or Die Starred.” Paramount+’s episode 11 listing describes a twist and an elimination checkpoint in the final. It is not the Jasmine-Nicole elimination.
