What were the second-round voting categories?
Ross’s March 19, 2025 report for Entertainment Weekly, republished by AOL, described three ballots. The tribe-swap question contrasted disrupting existing groups with leaving them together; the other two ballots let fans choose an advantage-power level and a Final Four challenge. The report directed viewers to the vote site.

How did the vote fit into the larger fan initiative?
CBS announced Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans on February 24, 2025, describing a multi-round vote over key game elements. CBS said voting would conclude before filming and that players would not know fans’ choices until they competed on the island. Earlier examples CBS gave included idols, Final Four fire-making, and the location and format of the finale and reunion. The network framed the initiative as a first for the series and said the milestone season celebrated 25 years of Survivor.

What later Season 50 episodes confirm—and what they don’t
CBS’s Season 50 episode guide lists a March 11, 2026 episode titled “Did You Vote for a Swap?” Its May 20 finale description says Jeff reveals outcomes of the remaining in-game fan votes. These listings confirm that fan choices became part of the season’s broadcast story, but they do not establish the complete outcomes of the three March 19 ballots.
