The tour was billed as a return to a large-scale, full-production comedy-rock show, with an expanded eight-piece ensemble, a mix of familiar parodies and deeper cuts, and Puddles Pity Party as the special guest. The 2025 dates have passed; Yankovic’s official tour page now covers 2026 activity.
What was the Bigger & Weirder tour?
It was a large-stage multimedia comedy-rock tour, rather than a documentary project or a new film. The announcement promised a giant video wall, costume changes and an eight-piece ensemble built around Yankovic’s original band. Its musical plan paired crowd-pleasing parodies with less frequently performed material, but the announcement did not publish a complete setlist.
Yankovic described the concept as “kind of a ‘best of both worlds’ tour,” adding that the show would combine “all the big crowd-pleasing parodies” with “some deep cuts for the hardcore fans.” The expanded lineup, he said, would make the songs sound “twice as good.” These statements appeared in the 313 Presents announcement.
Who was part of the show?
Yankovic and the band
The announcement specified an eight-piece ensemble, including Yankovic’s original band, for the larger production. It did not identify a fixed song-by-song program, so the announced balance of hits and deep cuts should not be mistaken for a guaranteed setlist.

When did the 2025 tour run?
Pitchfork’s September 23, 2024 report listed the tour as running from June 13 in Las Vegas through September 17 in Kalamazoo, 2025. That is a historical schedule, not a current ticket calendar. The official artist page says the 2025 tour reached more than 500,000 fans in 67 cities; that audience and city count is the artist’s own retrospective, not an independently audited attendance figure.

Why was it billed as a return to the big stage?
The 313 Presents announcement characterized the tour as Yankovic’s return to the large-stage format after two smaller-venue world tours. It also recalled that his previous large-stage appearance had been six years earlier. That framing comes from the venue announcement; it is not a detailed comparison of setlists or production across those tours.

The release also noted that Yankovic had won five Grammy Awards, a biographical detail rather than a measure of this tour.
