The game still hinged on teammates using one-word clues to help a partner guess a secret password. Season 2 added several twists, as reported in TVLine’s January 29, 2024 announcement:

- Themed second rounds: Each episode’s second round used a special category or theme.
- Password Prize of the Night: A randomly selected password could be worth a prize.
- Host clues in tiebreakers: Keke Palmer could give clues in her own voice during tiebreakers.
TV Guide describes a bonus round in which contestants had 60 seconds to guess 10 passwords, with a possible prize of up to $25,000. That is the stated prize ceiling, not evidence that a contestant won that amount. The modern series draws on the longer Password tradition, including Password Plus, Super Password and celebrity games on The Tonight Show, as noted in Rotten Tomatoes’ series listing.
Where can you watch Season 2?
TVLine’s January 2024 announcement said episodes would stream on Peacock the day after their NBC broadcast. That describes the schedule announced at the time; it does not establish whether Season 2 is currently available in Peacock’s catalogue or in a particular country.
