It aired on Peacock on August 25, 2025; Peacock lists it as Season 7, Episode 37, with a 117-minute runtime, and says 27 Islanders returned.
Spoilers for the Season 7 reunion follow.
What the reunion revisited
Co-hosted by Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen, the special brought the Fiji-season cast together in New York. Its central thread was accountability: Islanders explained whom they had voted out, confronted one another about friendships and public comments, and described where their relationships stood when the reunion was filmed. The details below come from Peacock’s episode information and published recaps by TheWrap and Teen Vogue; cast explanations and allegations are attributed rather than treated as independently verified facts.
Olandria, Chelley, and Huda confronted a broken friendship
Olandria said she and Huda had discussed making a statement addressing racist comments from fans, but that the statement never appeared. Huda said she had been dealing with racism herself. Olandria described feeling unsupported, and both she and Chelley said trust between them and Huda had broken down.
As reported by TheWrap, Olandria told Huda, “You kinda just got into the real world and kinda fell into that narrative and fed it.” The remark came amid their disagreement about how Huda had responded to the racist comments and the proposed statement—not as an independent finding about Huda’s intent.

Why the women voted to send Hannah home
Unseen footage of the women’s deliberation revisited Hannah’s dumping. Chelley argued that sending Hannah home would give Iris and Amaya a fairer opportunity to make connections. The clip also showed her resisting a decision based only on who had the strongest conversations. Hannah became emotional when she heard the explanation at the reunion.
TheWrap and Teen Vogue summarize different parts of the discussion; neither recap should be read as a complete transcript. The hosts said America’s vote would not have changed Hannah’s outcome.

Ace and Jeremiah disputed the decision to dump Jeremiah
Jeremiah said he felt Ace had villainized him. Ace maintained that he had overheard Jeremiah talking about followers and prize money. Footage shown at the reunion depicted Ace and Taylor aligned on sending Jeremiah home, while Nic argued for giving him another chance and said Austin should leave instead.
TheWrap reports that separate deliberation footage complicated the claim that Ace had been a “ringleader” against Jeremiah. The exchange ended with an apology. The footage and the Islanders’ accounts offer context for the vote, but do not establish every detail of the conversation Jeremiah was said to have had.

Bryan answered the cheating allegation
Bryan denied cheating allegations connected to a video of him at a party. He said, “I got paid to be there,” explaining that he had been paid to host the event, and said he and Amaya had discussed it. Amaya said she would not stay with someone who disrespected her and described their relationship as healthy.
Those are the couple’s statements at the reunion. The published recap does not independently verify what happened at the party or the context for the video, so it does not establish whether Bryan cheated.

When asked about relationships outside the villa, Huda said, “Legal reasons… It’s Netflix. I’m not allowed to talk about it,” according to Teen Vogue. Andy Cohen responded jokingly. That was Huda’s onstage explanation; the recaps do not independently establish the legal basis for her refusal.

Who was still together when the reunion was filmed?
Teen Vogue reported that these five couples were still dating at the time of filming, while noting that none had confirmed being fully committed:
| Couple | Status reported at reunion filming |
|---|---|
| Amaya and Bryan | Still dating; not confirmed as fully committed |
| Olandria and Nic | Still dating; not confirmed as fully committed |
| Iris and Pepe | Still dating; not confirmed as fully committed |
| Chelley and Ace | Still dating; not confirmed as fully committed |
| Taylor and Clarke | Still dating; not confirmed as fully committed |
This is a time-specific snapshot from filming, not a statement of current status. Shortly before broadcast, social-media unfollows prompted fresh breakup speculation about Iris and Pepe and Amaya and Bryan; those rumors do not confirm that either couple had split.
Other arguments the reunion brought up
- Nic said Cierra’s post-show videos had changed his desire to contact her and that he felt she prioritized attention. These are Nic’s views, not established motives for Cierra’s behavior.
- Bryan accused Zak of approaching the game for money, while Amaya said Bryan’s timing felt performative. The recaps report their opinions, not proof of Zak’s motives or Bryan’s.
- Ace said Amaya’s joke about his height on a podcast had hurt him.
The Heart Rate Challenge footage added context
Teen Vogue reports that extended footage from the Heart Rate Challenge led Huda to say, “I think I took it a step too far.” The reunion’s presentation revisited the challenge, but that remark alone does not establish more than Huda’s own assessment of her behavior.
Who was screaming in the dressing room?
A lighter mystery had a straightforward answer: TheWrap reports that the background scream heard while Olandria recorded an interview came from Huda singing Selena Gomez’s “Who Says” in the women’s dressing room. Fans had speculated that Cierra was responsible.
