Spoilers through Season 4. At the end of Industry Season 3, Harper chooses independence, Yasmin chooses the security Henry Muck offers, and Robert leaves the Pierpoint orbit to pitch a new venture in the United States. Those choices do not settle their stories: Season 4 later separates Yasmin and Henry and puts Harper and Yasmin on opposite sides of a moral conflict. HBO has renewed the series for a fifth and final season; the premiere date was listed as TBA in March 2026 reporting.
What happens at the end of Industry Season 3?
Harper and Petra remain together in their fund and reject Otto’s offer, returning his capital with an agreed return. Harper’s decision is not to accept power on someone else’s terms, but to keep building it through the fund she has chosen to run. The creators framed her Season 3 arc around what she would do once she had accumulated power. (The Washington Post; creator interview)
Yasmin and Robert sleep together, but their reunion does not become a shared future. Soon afterward, Yasmin accepts Henry’s proposal. Robert is hurt, yet the finale gives him a direction beyond the social world he has been trying to enter: he is in the United States pitching for Little Labs. (TheWrap; Los Angeles Times; finale coverage)
Why does Yasmin choose Henry over Robert?
The show leaves room for ambiguity about Yasmin’s feelings for Robert; her decision is not proof that she does not love him. The more grounded reading is that she chooses security and a route back to status and comfort after a period of instability. Creator Konrad Kay described Henry’s significance to her as “safety and security” and a gateway to the life she had given up. (The Washington Post)

Marisa Abela likewise described Yasmin’s choice as cutthroat “in terms of her own life,” contrasting it with Harper’s hard-edged industry decision. The point is less a simple romantic ranking than a choice about what kind of life Yasmin believes she can secure. (TheWrap)
Do Yasmin and Robert end up together?
No. They sleep together in the Season 3 finale, but Yasmin accepts Henry’s proposal, so the moment with Robert does not turn into a lasting partnership. Robert’s heartbreak is real, but actor Harry Lawtey described the ending as a springboard for Robert to rediscover himself and build a life outside the structure he had been trying to join. What happens to Harper, Robert and Yasmin in Season 4?
Harper
Harper’s independent rise continues. In the Season 4 finale, she finds Yasmin working within Whitney’s exploitative operation and challenges the way Yasmin has recast exploitation as opportunity. Their reunion exposes a disagreement about power and its costs, rather than resolving their relationship. (Season 4 finale reporting; renewal and finale coverage)
Yasmin
Yasmin and Henry divorce. She takes over Whitney’s operation, a move that places her in the position of exercising the kind of power Harper objects to. Season 4 therefore complicates the apparent security of Yasmin’s Season 3 choice: marrying Henry did not keep them together. (Season 4 finale reporting; renewal and finale coverage)

Robert
Season 3 ends with Robert pitching Little Labs in the United States, not with a confirmed reunion with Yasmin. Lawtey’s interpretation points toward self-discovery and a life of his own, but the cited Season 4 finale reports do not establish a specific later outcome for him. (Los Angeles Times; Season 4 finale reporting)
What the Season 3 choices mean
Read as character choices, the finale sets three different priorities against one another. Yasmin opts for security over the uncertain intimacy she shares with Robert; Robert gets a chance to pursue self-direction rather than elite belonging; Harper chooses independence and the power to shape her own fund. Season 4 adds an ethical complication to Harper’s ascent: her reunion with Yasmin is also a confrontation over whether opportunity justifies exploitation. This is an interpretation of the reported events, not a confirmed forecast of what the characters will do next. (TheWrap; The Washington Post; Los Angeles Times; Season 4 finale reporting)
