Spoilers for all six episodes of Ironheart, especially the finale. The mysterious man at the end is Mephisto, the same figure behind Parker Robbins’ earlier bargain. Riri defeats Parker and takes the Hood, then meets Mephisto and gets Natalie back as a living person. The markings on Riri’s arm suggest that this return comes at a price—but the finale does not reveal the full terms or what happens next.
Who is the man Riri meets at the end?
He is Mephisto, played by Sacha Baron Cohen. The reveal identifies the mysterious figure connected to Parker Robbins’ bargain, not Dormammu, whom Riri initially suspects. Mephisto recognizes that Riri wants Natalie back, setting up the finale’s most consequential exchange.
Riri’s encounter also links her story to Parker’s: both have sought something from Mephisto, and the finale suggests that neither gets what they want without a cost.
How does Riri defeat Parker and take the Hood?
The episode opens with a flashback to Parker’s earlier meeting with Mephisto. Mephisto offers him a way to pursue wealth in exchange for a cost Parker does not understand. In the present, the Hood has corrupted Parker and turned him against his former allies.

Is Natalie really alive again?
The finale depicts Natalie returning as a human being, not merely as the AI version Riri had created. Riri embraces her. The episode presents the reunion as real within the story, while tying it to Riri’s meeting with Mephisto.

Did Riri make a deal with Mephisto?
The episode strongly implies that Mephisto’s intervention has a price. Markings appear on Riri’s arm that resemble those associated with Parker when he used the Hood. That visual parallel points to a costly bargain, but the finale does not spell out the agreement’s exact terms, establish its full mechanism, or show its long-term consequences.
Dominique Thorne, who plays Riri, offered her own interpretation of the uneasy balance between them: “I think Mephisto is probably in for a bit more of a headache than he bargained for with Miss Riri Williams.” That is Thorne’s view of her character, not confirmation of how the story will continue.

What happens to Parker after he loses the Hood?
In the mid-credits scene, Parker visits Zelma Stanton’s shop and asks for someone more experienced and “supreme-like.” The exchange suggests he is looking for powerful magical help, but it does not name the person he wants to consult. It is not confirmation of an appearance by Doctor Strange, Wong, or Strange Academy.
Is there a post-credits scene?
There is a mid-credits scene: Parker approaches Zelma after losing the Hood. The supplied episode details identify this as a mid-credits scene, not a separate scene after all credits have finished.

Will Riri return in the MCU?
The finale leaves Riri’s next appearance unresolved. In comments reported by TVLine in July 2025, head writer and executive producer Chinaka Hodge said, “Audiences will help make that decision, of what happens next.” That remark does not confirm a second season or a specific future project. Thorne has also said she learned the mysterious character’s identity while filming the final scene, after the name in the script kept changing; that describes production secrecy, not a casting or story announcement.
The ending therefore works as a cliffhanger rather than a firm roadmap: Natalie is back, Mephisto’s apparent bargain hangs over Riri, and Parker is seeking help, but the series does not establish what project—if any—will resolve those threads.
