Season 2 of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is complete: CBS lists 22 episodes, ending May 21, 2026. The principal cast is Montana Jordan, Emily Osment, Rachel Bay Jones, Will Sasso, Dougie Baldwin and Jessie Prez. Season-two episode summaries also name returning Young Sheldon family members Mary, Missy and Meemaw.
Who is back for Season 2 of Georgie & Mandy?
Paramount Press Express lists six principal cast members for the series. Their characters connect the season’s central couple to the McAllister household and Georgie’s tire-store business.

Yes. CBS episode summaries name the three returning Cooper family characters and their performers. They are identified in episode descriptions rather than in the six-person principal cast list.

Those references establish their presence in the season’s story, but do not by themselves provide a complete episode-by-episode appearance list.
What does the Season 2 cast get up to?
The season continues the sequel’s focus on Georgie and Mandy raising their young family in Texas, while widening the story through work and family relationships. Georgie’s tire-store partnership with Ruben and Mandy’s move into weekend weather and local news broadcasting give the couple new professional pressures alongside parenting and marriage.
- Business: The October 16, 2025 premiere, “A Tie Breaker and a Huge Mistake,” makes Georgie and Ruben co-owners of the tire store and sets up disagreements over decisions.
- Mandy’s television job: “Fan Mail and Old-Timey Organ Music” (October 23, 2025) features her new weekend weather role. In “The G Word and a Blaspheming Bimbo” (March 5, 2026), a controversial on-air remark puts her job and Georgie’s business at risk.
- Family life: “A New Hobby, a Pervert and a Part-Time Job” (February 26, 2026) follows Audrey and Mandy urging Jim to find a hobby.
- Season finale: “A New Beau and Someone Else’s Mom’s House” (May 21, 2026) includes Mary warming to Fagenbacher and Audrey dealing with Connor’s absence.
How the show connects to Young Sheldon
CBS describes Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage as a sequel to Young Sheldon. In an October 2024 Associated Press report, executive producer Steve Holland said the creative team wanted the new show to feel distinct rather than like “Young Sheldon 2.0.” He described the appeal of a multi-camera format and a live audience as “a theatrical experience.” Those comments provide production context; they are not Season 2 cast announcements.
