Joe Manganiello said the Deal or No Deal Island season 2 finale would reveal the Banker and break the all-time television game show winnings record. In an interview published by Entertainment Weekly on March 19, 2025, the host called the episode “mind-blowing” and urged viewers to watch it live.
What did Joe Manganiello say about the finale?
Manganiello, identified in the interview as the show’s host, game master and executive producer, said the finale would deliver a Banker reveal and a record-breaking result. He described the moment this way: “The all-time television game show winnings record falls in what I can only say is maybe the most unbelievable thing I have ever witnessed.”

He also called it “mind-blowing, riveting TV” and said viewers would want to watch “in real time because people are going to be talking about it immediately after.” The remarks are his preview of the episode, not independent confirmation of the final winnings total.
What did the interview establish—and what did it leave open?
The March 19, 2025 report was an AOL republication of an Entertainment Weekly interview, edited for length and clarity. It said the finale was scheduled for the following Tuesday at 9 p.m. on NBC; that is the schedule reported at the time, not current broadcast or streaming information.

How did Parvati Shallow describe the ending?
In a separate Parade interview published February 11, 2025, contestant Parvati Shallow also praised the then-upcoming ending, calling it “a spiritual experience” and “the most mind-blowing experience” she had witnessed. Her reaction was distinct from Manganiello’s emphasis on the record and the immediate buzz; it should not be mistaken for his quote or for confirmation of the episode’s outcome.
