After episode 4, several Bachelor in Paradise pairings had no major change, while new arrivals and rose choices reshaped the Golden cast’s romantic landscape. The recap’s “still together” snapshot describes where contestants stood in that episode—not whether any couple stayed together after filming.

What changed in the episode
Kat stayed with Dale, despite a tense conversation
Kat asked Dale whether he and Alli Jo had kissed outside the kissing booth. Dale admitted they had kissed once, answering, “Ummm… you know… ummm… one time.” Kat stayed with him, but his defensive response and instruction to “move past it” left tension between them.

April’s attention turned toward Jonathon
After Captain Kim friend-zoned April, she kissed Jack and appeared open to giving him her rose. But she also told Jonathon she would give him her rose if she could. Jack was later sent home, leaving April’s interest in Jonathon as the more consequential development in the recap.
Natascha gave Gary her rose
Natascha had initially connected with RJ. Gary’s arrival shifted her attention: although he enjoyed talking with Natascha, he asked Leslie on a date. Natascha nevertheless gave Gary her rose at the ceremony.

Leslie chose Kim after Gary was unavailable
Leslie said she had no romantic feelings for Kim, then chose him at the rose ceremony after Gary asked her on a date and was unavailable. The recap describes the pairing as awkward and speculates that Gary may still be interested in Leslie; that is a prediction, not a confirmed outcome.
Kathy gave Keith her rose, while Keith wanted to meet Nancy
Kathy said she had a good connection with Keith and gave him her rose. After Nancy arrived, Keith told her he saw Kathy as a friend and wanted to get to know Nancy.

Who arrived and who left?
Episode 4 brought Gary from The Golden Bachelorette, Lea from Joey’s season of The Bachelor, and Golden contestants Nancy and Faith. CK, Jack and RJ were sent home.
