Former Married at First Sight contestant Sebastian Guilhaus was charged in 2023 with trafficking a commercial quantity of methamphetamine after police raided his Adelaide home, according to contemporaneous reporting. He pleaded not guilty in 2024. The available reports do not establish what happened after a trial was scheduled for October, so no final outcome can be stated here.
What was reported about the Adelaide raid?
PerthNow reported on 30 July 2023 that South Australia Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Branch arrested Guilhaus after a raid at his Croydon home. The report said police allegedly seized 870g of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of at least $90,000. Those figures describe the alleged seizure reported at the time; they are not a court finding about Guilhaus’s guilt. PerthNow’s report also said he appeared in Adelaide Magistrates Court and was remanded in custody.

What charge did he face?
The charge reported in July 2023 was one count of trafficking in a commercial quantity of methamphetamine. A charge is an allegation to be determined through the court process; it is not proof of guilt or a conviction.
What happened in court afterward?
TV Tonight reported on 24 May 2024 that Guilhaus pleaded not guilty in South Australia’s District Court and that a trial was set for October. The report does not establish the result of that trial. TV Tonight’s report is the later court update cited here.

What is known about the case’s outcome?
The cited reports establish the initial charge and the later not-guilty plea and trial setting, but they do not verify a subsequent verdict or the case’s current status. It would therefore be inaccurate to describe Guilhaus as convicted, acquitted, sentenced, or still in custody on the basis of those reports alone.
