What Jennifer Lawrence said about her plan
The comments appeared in a New Yorker profile published for the November 3, 2025, issue. Lawrence said, “Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one. Second one, nothing bounced back.” Asked whether she would pursue the procedure if she were not an actor, she replied, “Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way. Lawrence also tied the timing to an upcoming project: the profile said she expected to be nude on camera again in the spring, one year postpartum. Her remarks describe her own experience and circumstances, not general medical guidance.
Was the procedure confirmed, and what kind was it?
No. The October 27, 2025, report by Glamour said her appointment was on the books for November, but neither that report nor the New Yorker profile establishes that she underwent surgery afterward.
