If you’re looking for The View on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, ABC’s schedule lists a new episode—not a national day off. The listing features a Joy Behar birthday celebration and actor Mikey Madison. Alyssa Farah Griffin has already returned for Season 30, which premiered live on September 8.
Is The View on today, October 7?
Yes, according to The View’s official schedule, which lists the program for Wednesday, October 7. The episode is described as a celebration of Joy Behar’s birthday with a tag sale, plus Mikey Madison, who stars in The Social Reckoning. ABC’s October 2 weekly guest announcement carries the same listing and says the schedule is subject to change.
What time does The View air?
The show’s official schedule lists its weekday ABC slot as 11 a.m. Eastern, 10 a.m. Central, and 11 a.m. Pacific. Because local station schedules and interruptions can differ, check your ABC affiliate’s listings if the program is not appearing where you are. The available schedule information does not establish a national preemption on October 7.
When did Alyssa Farah Griffin return?
Griffin returned with the other co-hosts for the live Season 30 premiere on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. ABC’s September 3 announcement named Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro as returning for the premiere. So she is not awaiting a future return in connection with the October 7 episode.
