Travis Kelce expected his family to celebrate Christmas after the games in 2023: either after his Kansas City Chiefs game or the following day. He also praised Chiefs fans, saying, “It’s always a luxury playing for Kansas City — home and away.”
What were Travis Kelce’s Christmas plans?
In a December 19, 2023 report, Entertainment Tonight relayed Kelce’s comments to People about the holiday schedule. The Chiefs were set to play the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day, while his brother Jason’s Philadelphia Eagles were scheduled to face the New York Giants. With both brothers playing, the family planned to celebrate afterward.
Travis said Jason had texted that he would celebrate after his game. Travis expected his own celebration to happen after the Chiefs game or the next day, and called it “a fun one.” He did not say what their mother, Donna Kelce, planned for the holiday. Entertainment Tonight’s December 19, 2023 report has the original account.
What did Kelce say about Chiefs fans?
In the same report, Kelce said, “It’s always a luxury playing for Kansas City — home and away.” His remark praised the support he experienced as a Chiefs player, including when the team was away from home. Entertainment Tonight attributed the quote to his conversation with People.
