On October 31, 2024, Hailey Bieber shared a cropped photo of her son, Jack Blues Bieber, on Instagram Stories, pairing the image with a voting message. It was her first photo of Jack since his birth announcement—not the first image either parent had shared of him.
What Hailey Bieber shared on Halloween
The Instagram Story showed Jack’s legs in a purple-toned onesie, with an “I VOTED” sticker on his foot. Hailey wrote: “Happy Halloween! Get out there and vote.” Glamour’s contemporaneous report and Teen Vogue’s account described the October 31, 2024 Story.
The view was tightly cropped: it showed part of the baby, not a clear view of his face. Reports differ slightly on the clothing’s color, so “purple-toned” captures the shared description without implying a precise shade.
Why “first photo” needs context
Hailey’s Story was reported as her first photo of Jack since the couple announced his birth. It was not the first photo shared by either parent: Justin had already posted an image of the newborn’s foot beside Hailey’s hand with the August birth announcement. Teen Vogue reproduced Justin’s caption: “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER 🐻”. Teen Vogue reported that announcement on August 23, 2024; Glamour says Jack was born August 22.

How it differs from the family Halloween photo
The October 31 Story was a small, cropped image of Jack with a voting sticker and message. It should not be confused with the separate family Halloween photo reported afterward. On November 2, The Independent reported that Justin and Hailey had shared their first family photo with Jack for Halloween, showing the family in costume. That later image was a distinct post, not the Story Hailey shared on October 31.
