They married on July 31, 2021, at the Albuquerque home of Jorma Taccone, Forte’s MacGruber co-creator, while Forte was filming the project. Forte said the idea came together after family and friends had already gathered there; his parents did not know about the wedding until they arrived. He called it “a delightful day” and said of marriage, “It’s fun to say, ‘Wife,’” according to Entertainment Tonight.

The couple have two daughters, Zoe and Cecilia. Forte announced in April 2021 that their first daughter, Zoe Douglas Forte, had been born on February 15, 2021—several months before the wedding. Coverage names their second daughter as Cecilia but does not give her exact birthday.
